Web 2.0 University Week - Remote Attendance Information
By Popular Request: Attend Remotely
For the very first time, you will be able to attend Web 2.0 University Week remotely this fall through a high-quality video and audio Web feed provided by Ustream.tv. The live video feed will be password protected and you’ll be able to interact if you wish with other remote participants.
Our in-person events are world-class and physical attendance results in the best overall experience. That’s because when you attend live, you can interact directly with the instructor, other attendees, and work through exercises as a group in real-time (this is about Web 2.0 after all) as well as participate in any special events in the evening. However, remote attendance is the next best thing if you just can’t make the trek to Las Vegas or London this year.
You can purchase one-day of access at a time or you can get a discount and attend all four days of Web 2.0 University Week remotely. You will also receive the slides via e-mail before the start of the session. All attendees will be given access to a private archive of the recordings to refer to on-demand after the event as well.
